My own little herb garden

The last days have been really busy for me and I had no time (nor strenght!) to post here. This time of the year always brings a lot of changes, plus it makes me kind of slow and sleepy. Do you also have it?

Some time ago I found a cool thing – ‘herb crate’. I’ve always wanted to have fresh herbs at home but I thought it was a difficult task to grow them and take care of them everyday. But turns out it’s nothing complicated!

I got a crate with chives, oregano, basil and parsley.

First they weren’t growing at all and I wasn’t sure how much and how often I should water them. You can imagine how happy I was when I saw this little green baby one morning!

Now I have a lot of babies!

I can’t wait for them to be big enough so that I can eat them, mwahahaha!

In other news, I made this salad the other day and it was so good!

It’s corn salad (apparently also called Lewiston cornsalad, lamb’s lettuce, fetticus, field salad, mâche, feldsalat, nut lettuce and rapunzel… TMI, Wiki!) with mozzarella, strawberries and sesame seeds, plus balsamic vinegar.

How have you been doing lately?
